Jim's thoughts on Earl,

Earl Young is a drum stylist. I had the opportunity to do some recording with
him at Golden Fleece records for Baker, Harris, and Young. He's a great
person, a great musician and a friend for life. Upon listening to Baker, Harris,
and Young, I learned their style of playing from recordings that they had done
prior to the start of my recording days. Thus, preparing me for an opportunity
to work with the artist and producing teams. I always loved the way that Earl
and Baker sounded together. My life was enriched with the opportunity to
share history with him.
